Pakistan's embassy in US celebrates Independence Day

WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s embassy in United States on Tuesday held a ceremony to mark Pakistan’s 71st Independence Day. Ambassador Ali Jahangir Siddiqui hoisted national flag at the flag hoisting ceremony to mark the Independence Day at the Embassy of Pakistan, Washington DC.
Assistant US Secretary of State Alice Wells, ambassadors of other friendly countries and a large number of Pakistanis living in the United States attended the ceremony.
An exclusive Qawali performance by renowned Qawali singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan enthralled the audience at the ceremony to mark the Independence Day of Pakistan.
